Leo’s story
Leo came to us through a regional animal welfare organisation. At first he was cautious and preferred to observe everything from a safe distance. Over time, he has shown himself to be a gentle, sensitive tomcat who blossoms in a calm environment and builds deep bonds with people he trusts.
Behaviour in the ChatzKafi
In the café, Leo behaves calmly and in a balanced way. He likes to lie in quiet corners or on cosy spots from which he can observe the room without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
With other cats, Leo is social and respectful. He avoids conflicts, communicates clearly and shows guests how important calm introductions and enough space are in a cat group.
Towards people, Leo is friendly but not pushy. He appreciates calm, patient visitors who give him time. Once he trusts someone, he enjoys gentle strokes and quiet moments together.
Is Leo ready for a home?
Yes. Leo is in good health, shows stable behaviour in the café and is ready for a calm, loving home. He is best suited to people who appreciate a quiet, sensitive cat and can offer him a safe environment with retreat options.

Moving into happiness
Visit us at ChatzKafi and spend time with Leo in a calm atmosphere. You can observe his behaviour and see whether you are a good match.
Together we discuss your living situation, experience with cats and expectations. We clarify whether Leo’s needs and your everyday life are compatible.
A short visit by the animal welfare organisation ensures that Leo will find a safe, species-appropriate home with you.
Formal adoption and the long-awaited move into his new home – with a careful handover and further support if you have questions.
Important note: Please note that all adoption decisions are made in close cooperation with the responsible animal welfare organisation. The well-being of the cat always comes first.
Our partner organisation
We work closely with regional animal welfare organisations and veterinary practices. Together we ensure that our cats receive the best possible medical care, are kept in a species-appropriate manner and are placed responsibly. Transparency and cooperation are very important to us.
